Hisham Najah is a distinguished Chief Investment Officer with extensive experience in the investment management industry. He is highly skilled in Portfolio Management, Negotiation, International Tax, Corporate Finance, and Managerial Finance. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of Tripoli, where he laid the foundation for his successful career in finance and investment. Currently, Hisham serves as the Investment Department Manager at the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Libya. In this role, he oversees significant investment portfolios and strategic financial planning, contributing to the corporation's growth and stability. Before his current position, he excelled as a Senior Investment Advisor at NOC, where he provided critical advice and support in investment decisions. Hisham's professional journey includes a notable tenure at the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), where he held several key roles, including Chief Investment Officer. During his 13 years and 11 months at LIA, he was instrumental in managing the Oil and Gas Fund and various other investment management functions, demonstrating his ability to handle complex financial operations and drive successful investment strategies. Earlier in his career, Hisham worked at Chevron as a Senior Accountant, where he honed his financial management skills and gained valuable industry experience. He also served as an Accountant at Eni, further expanding his expertise in the oil and gas sector.
