Nafusah Oil Operations Company has reached a significant milestone at its North Hamada oil field, located in Contract Area 47 in the Ghadames Basin, with production now exceeding 10,000 barrels per day. This achievement marks a crucial objective in the first phase of Nafusah’s development plan to increase production capacity.

The company is currently finalizing preparations for the two remaining wells, A-1 and A-4, from the initial development phase. These wells are expected to be operational by the end of November, which will bring the total field output to 14,000 barrels per day.

This accomplishment is credited to the hard work and dedication of Nafusah’s national technical teams, who remain committed to meeting production goals. The increased output supports Libya National Oil Corporation’s strategic vision of boosting production rates and contributing to the country’s economic stability.

The Chairman and members of the Libya National Oil Corporation’s Board of Directors expressed their gratitude to the leadership and staff of Nafusah for their diligent efforts. These achievements have played a vital role in fulfilling the corporation’s objectives, advancing its strategic development plans, and ensuring the success of its long-term growth initiatives.
