Waha Oil Company convened with the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Tripoli to review the company’s exploration activities for the current year, focusing on exploratory drilling, seismic surveys, and upcoming project proposals for 2025. The meeting covered proposed exploration programs, study plans, and the required budgets, reflecting Waha's commitment to advancing its projects in Libya’s energy sector.

Highlights of the discussion included the seismic survey programs in blocks 12 and 13, along with treatment and reprocessing plans for seismic lines in block 31, M59, and additional areas. The meeting also explored proposed studies aimed at ensuring comprehensive exploration across all Waha-owned areas.

Key participants included the Directors of Exploration from both NOC and Waha Oil, joined by engineers, specialists, and observers. Representatives from Waha’s international partners, Total and ConocoPhillips, participated via videoconference, underscoring global collaboration in advancing Libya’s exploration initiatives.
