Saxon Palmer

Saxon Palmer has 30 years of international oil and gas experience, having held significant positions in major companies within the industry. He spent 10 years with BP and 11 years with BHP Billiton, where his roles included Global Portfolio Manager and Exploration Manager for Australasia. In these roles, Mr. Palmer demonstrated his expertise in managing and exploring vast portfolios across various regions. His extensive experience also includes advising Japanese and Korean LNG buyers and investors, providing strategic insights and guidance in the LNG market. Until February 2017, Mr. Palmer played a pivotal role at InterOil, overseeing the company's exploration strategy, exploration portfolio management, geoscience, and field data acquisition programs, including the utilization of seismic and other advanced technologies. He was a key member of the executive leadership team that successfully completed the sale of InterOil to ExxonMobil for approximately $2.5 billion. Mr. Palmer holds a science degree with honors in geology from the Australian National University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His educational background and extensive professional experience make him a respected figure in the oil and gas industry.
